Sherwood Park Nursery

Welcome

Hello, I am Ellie Thompson and I am delighted to be the EYFS Lead here at Sherwood Park primary and Nursery School. I have been at the school for 21 years and throughout those years, I have taught in every year group. I am very fortunate to have experience and knowledge of where children both start and finish their journey through primary school!

I strongly believe that as the EYFS Leader, I have a responsibility to ensure that the education provided in the Early Years is the best that it can be. Sherwood Park Nursery offers children the opportunity to start their educational journey in a stimulating and most importantly, a safe and caring environment.

Every child's development is monitored in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. I believe that it is important that the curriculum that is delivered, prepares our children for their next steps in life by supporting them in being enthusiastic learners who understand the importance of problem solving, risk taking and resilience in the face of obstacles.

Our offer

Sherwood Park Nursery offers places for children aged 3-4 year olds.

From September 2024, we will be offering both full time and part time places.
